First Assembly Missions
First Assembly, through its generous monthly support of foreign missions, is engaged in a missionary endeavor pursuing the original commitment of our forefathers to world evangelism. This commitment is composed of four essential elements:
Through our monthly support of foreign missionaries, we are proclaiming the message of Jesus Christ to the spiritually lost in the entire world through every available means.
Through our ongoing support, we are establishing churches in over 190 countries, following the New Testament pattern.
Through our efforts, we are training leaders throughout the world to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ to their own people.
Because of our faithful giving, we are touching the poor and suffering people with the compassion of Jesus Christ and inviting them to become his followers.
Matthew 28:19-20 (ESV)
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
JOSEPH AND NATALIE BARNOSKE - YOUTH ALIVE
Joe and Natalie Barnoske are Youth Alive missionaries to the schools of Florida. With over 1.5 million middle and high students in Florida, the schools are the largest mission field among teens. Every day, students are faced with a choice to live for God or to fall into temptation. The ministry of PF Youth Alive equips and empowers the next generation to reach the lost and hurting at their schools. Joe and Natalie are both gifted communicators who are passionate to see this generation spark revival. Youth Alive inspires students to become campus missionaries and launch a campus movement at their school. Every year, they host training events called Empowerment Days and write resources for discipleship and evangelism. Soon, they will launch The Seven Project assembly program. God is changing a generation through the ministry of Youth Alive. Thank you for your prayers and financial support.
TOM & PHYLLIS BENIGAS - EUROPE
Our assignment in Europe is to work with the Fellowship of European International Churches and Continental Theological Seminary. We work as support people to FEIC which includes “fill in Ministry” and staff coaching in International Churches on the European Continent. At CTS, we serve as Campus Pastors to the school and coach many students. The school serves students from 35 different countries and produces Theology and Church leaders for European churches and institutions. In addition, we serve the Belgian Field as “moderators” taking care of legal documents of all the Belgian missionaries.
ABIGAIL, AIDAN, & DAN BLAIR - SLOVENIA
The Blairs are appointed missionaries to Slovenia. As the only AGWM missionaries in Slovenia, they will be partnering with the national Pentecostal church to inspire church development and revitalization by engaging the secularist. Together, they can begin to reach a country that struggles with alcoholism and depression, along with reaching out to the marginalized people groups living in Slovenia.
Dan grew up in Ohio, and Abigail grew up in Hungary as a missionary kid. They met at Continental Theological Seminary in Brussels, Belgium, where they both earned their Bachelor’s degree. Dan has his BA in Missions and Abigail has her BA in Christian Education. They have one son, Aidan, who is three years old. Dan previously served as a youth pastor within the Peninsular Florida District and Abigail as a kindergarten teacher. They feel called to reach Slovenia by living out the love of Christ one relationship at a time.
Many people think of Europe as a beautiful, culturally rich, and liturgical continent, however at the heart of it, Europe is a continent in need of a revival, and the understanding of a personal relationship with Jesus. With the recent refugee crisis, which has affected Slovenia and many other European countries, the gospel has never been more relevant. They are excited to witness what God has in store for the people of Slovenia! Through Jesus, there is Hope for Slovenia!

REBECCA JOHNS - THAILAND
In Fall 2016, I will help to pioneer a Chi Alpha Chiang Rai ministry to reach the university students in Chiang Rai, Thailand. Lord willing, together with my colleague (another AG missionary), we will open a student center right outside the Chiang Rai Rajabaht University Campus. This center will offer conversational English classes and other actives that students may be interested in, as well as, discipleship classes for those who are interested in becoming a follower of Christ. More than anything else, my heart is to reach this generation with the Good News and train them to Know God, Love People & Change the World! I’m believing God that the students of Chiang Rai will have an undeniable encounter with the Holy Spirit that stirs them to seek Truth! These students will then be instrumental in sharing their faith with their family, friends and co-workers. My prayer is to equip the students, not only with boldness to share their faith and service in their local church but to equip the students to make disciples & train those who want to become followers of Jesus Christ.
